We are kicking around the idea of doing another Celebrity Maestro this year for Halloween. I'll be directing with either Roy or Kareem (I think), so, *if* we do this, here's the place to throw your wig in.

I'm not entirely sure what this is, but I would love to be Woody Allen or Brian Lubu.

Jon, I'm very flattered! You spelled my name wrong, but still very flattering.

Also I wanna be Frank Sinatra.

It's exactly what it sounds like. It's a Maestro, but everyone acts as a celebrity. The name cards provide the celebrity names. The fun comes from these celebrities acting as improvisers. Many games are still played where improvisers take on normal characters and such. Layers upon layers. I did tech for it last time and found it to be pretty enjoyable.

I'll play as myself since I am a friend of Tom Booker. Apparently he only knows celebrities so I guess I qualify.

(I am not actually signing up!)

Aw man, I had so much fun last time we did one of these... but I already have my Halloween costume for this year. I hope we do plan on doing something like this next year for Halloween, because then I'd probably try to emulate some craaaaazy rock chick like Lita Ford or Chrissy Amphlett. OR I'd want to go the other way and be Carol Channing.

Like I said though... I would not be doing any of these this year, because I already have my costume.

as a former celebrity maestro champion - a la William Shatner - I find this quite inspired for Halloween. I believe I duked it out with Bette Midler (Aden) last time. i will endeavor to have us both return.

I would be down, I think I'll do Skeletor from HE-MAN. Since I already have the costume.

this is simply the best halloween improv idea ever. i would like to see improvised scene between william shatner and christopher walken, location- a wrestling ring.

but alas, i cannot not play as i will be trick-or-treating with children as Wild Thing Max.

someone take pictures!

I had so much fun last time. I'd definitely love to do it again. As somebody new? As Kaufman again?

Sarah Palin? I'll straighten my hair and everything. Or I can do Queen Elizabeth I again.

Yeah, what he said. The important thing to remember is that you're not playing the celebrity that you've come as in the games/scenes, but you're playing as if you are that celebrity who's come to play maestro, and improvise accordingly. Triple-double fun.

(And don't forget to sign up for this week's maestro in all the excitement!)
