Let's give Todd a warm Austin improv welcome as he tells stories in tonight's Stool Pigeon at Coldtowne Theater (8pm). Todd promises, "I will start honing my Yakov Smirnoffian observations: 'In Austin they do X, in Chicago they do X! What a country!'"

Todd Schanbacher is a recent transplant to Austin from Chicago. He's a veteran of several house teams at the I.O. Theater in Chicago (formerly the ImprovOlympic) including Johnny Roast Beef, the Cougars, and Fatty Four Eyes. He's performed at the Chicago Improv Festival, Del Close Festival, and L.A. Improv Festival, and his sketch group, the Whizgiggers, has written and produced three different revues at Chicago Sketchfest and various black box theaters.

By day Todd supports software with his flat, midwestern accent. He will continue to use the plural second-person pronoun "you guys" instead of "ya'll" until his dying day.
