From October 8 to October 29, The Starter Kit headlines in The Hideout's Thursday Threefer in a show we're simply calling Murder. Each show will be an improvised murder mystery with a different distinct detective for each show. We'll have an anal retentive federal agent (a la Dale Cooper from Twin Peaks), a new-agey surfer dude named Phoenix, an old blues musician who speaks in metaphors and anecdotes, and a former child detective who faces the biggest case of his career.

Also, every show has two special guests, one of which will be be discovered as the murdered victim within the first scene.

Guests with their respective show dates:

Oct. 8 -- Curtis Luciani and Michael Thomas
Oct. 15 -- Bryan "Lubu" Roberts and John Ratliff
Oct. 22 -- Aden Kirschner and Eric Heiberg
Oct. 29 -- Chelsea Gilman and Jericho Thorp

We're all excited to see what happens with those great, eclectic player pairings. Come see some murderous fun.

Holy shit, holy shit. Tonight was an amazing night of improv. Dusk, ColdTowne, and The Starter Kit destroyed the stage. Everyone was running on all cylinders in all three troupes.

Seriously, that was one of the best TSK shows I've been a part of. Thanks, Michael and Curtis, for being our first set of guests.

I'll always love you, Ferdinand.

Aden Kirschner and Eric Heiberg may kill you if you don't come bump

I suspect Jericho Thorp and Chelsea Gilman as the main culprits of this final murderous bump.
