The Improv Diagnostics Workshop is a drop-in class that allows all level of player to participate, from the veteran improviser to those improvising for the very first time. That is because there are no lesson plans.

Instead, the class is structured to pinpoint your individual students’ tendencies. Find out what your strengths are and where you could explore further and learn personalized challenges that will help you break your boundaries.

And working in a non-stop series of short, quick scenes, maximized stage time guaranteed! It's great for beginners who want to develop new skills and for professionals who want to keep fresh.



About the Instructor
ASAF RONEN
is the creator and Editor-in-Chief of YESand.com, a website devoted to improvisation, and is the author of Directing Improv: Show the Way By Getting Out of the Way. He has been involved in improv since 1990, starting in college and working with Theatresports, ComedySportz and several improv troupes with whom he created original new longform shows.

Currently, he is the Marketing Director of the Austin Improv Collective and a producer on TRUST US, THIS IS ALL MADE UP, a documentary on legendary improvisers TJ & Dave that had its world premiere this year at Austin’s South by Southwest Festival.

Asaf has taught improvisation in Canada, Great Britain, Norway and in twenty-two of The United States. His directing credits include the all-girl group goga, the improvised comic book adventure show Ka-Baam!!, and Death in the City, a dramatic longform improv piece, at the NY Fringe Festival.

Asaf has taught throughout NYC’s public school system as a resident artist through LEAP and New Horizons and as part of Weist-Barron’s ACTeen. In 2000, Asaf worked with Cirque du Soleil as a scout for improvisational talent.

I'm in a troupe with Asaf, and I still can't get enough of his coaching. The guy is a phenomenon. I'm going to try to attend this diagnostics, as well as his 8 week Master Class, starting in mid-October.

Recommended even higher than I got on weed last night! And that was damn high!
