Hey Austin and OOB!
Tonight I was definitely feeling high on improv. Thanks for the fix!

I love this. I also think that potentially there are people on the "mainland" waiting to move to Hawaii, but lacking the housing. Therefore, imps leaving Hawaii, tho sad for Hawaii, are really just making room for a surfer, artist or writer (or all three in one) to take over the lease.Jon Bolden wrote:And one of them was from Hawaii!
I see this as PROOF that IMPROV makes the world go round, economically as well as socially.

I just walked away with the feeling that things have changed radically in the 3+ years I've been around. It's just gotten enormongous.
Yikes!

The amount the festival has grown just in the past 5 years is truly insane. Back then, we just had 1 stage, we didn't even use upstairs at the Hideout. Truly bonkers how big this thing has gotten.mpbrockman wrote:I just walked away with the feeling that things have changed radically in the 3+ years I've been around. It's just gotten enormongous.

I feel so gushy after this fest. Makes me think about maybe calling Austin my home... no promises about never moving away though.

That's exactly what I was going for. But I couldn't figure out how to word it. We're gonna need a bigger scene sounded cheese dick.Asaf wrote:I imagine you saying this in a Roy Scheider voice.Jastroch wrote:We're gonna need more stages.Jon Bolden wrote:I had at least 3 people tell me last night that they were thinking about moving to Austin. Kudos to everyone involved (the whole OOB team, Austin improvisors, improvisors in from out of town, great audiences) for making this such an amazing festival yet again. I was only able to be a part of such a relatively small part of the festival this year, and it still made me so excited for improv and what we have here in Austin again.

*relieved to see picture of himself giving Jason Vines a space blowjob while making rocking devil horns with his hands during Vines' rendition of Skid Row's "Life" is not on there*Jastroch wrote:http://www.austin360.com/alist/mediahub ... tId=180193
