September/October 2009 Threefer/Double Barrel Schedule is up

Without exception, if you're not one of the Threefer headlining troupes (The Starter Kit and Improv for Evil this time around), you got either 0 shows or 1 show.

For those who were not booked, don't take it personally. About a billion factors go into this. AND a few troupes always drop out every schedule, so I'll probably be looking to you to fill in if you're available.

Okay, let's see. Some names you might not recognize:

Mr. Puppet:
Think you perform a lot? Mr. Puppet performs over 400 shows a year. He's a ventriloquist and puppeteer, specializing in vaudeville style performance... one of the few non-improv shows in the schedule, but one I'm very excited about.

3$Bills:
Belinda's group that debuted in the Threefer last week.
From their Facebook page:
"The 3$bills are the Queerest show in comedy, combining the fine art of Improv with stand-up and sketch.

Just who are the 3$Bills?

Some say, they are a mysterious band of homosexuals who sneak into houses at night and redecorate, creating a more spacious feeling with light colors balanced against well-placed lighting.

Some say the 3$Bills are marauding Femme Dykes in search of love, light and the occasional softball game.

However, we know the 3$Bills are a group of zany, witty, and all around fantastic people who rise from their beds, dressed to the nines, and ready to bring a massive force of funny down upon you like a drag queen when her stiletto snaps and the wig comes off.

Team Boomsplosion:
Team Boomsplosion is a sketch comedy troupe originally/currently in Binghamton NY. Brett recently moved to Austin. The two continue to collaborate and perform shows. Plans are in the works for both members to make appearances the other's city.

Brad McEntire and Jeff Swearingen from Dallas. They perform in the Hideout schedule pretty regularly, actually.
