As official minister of propaganda, I have to ask you to start asking yourselves: What have I done to promote Out of Bounds today? Here's a list of stuff you can do:

1) Make Facebook invites for your troupes show with links to purchase tickets or all-festival passes at outofboundsimprov.com

2) Casually mention the festival at the water cooler at work. Every day.

3) Make a flier for your show and post it up in your local coffee shops.

4) Send out an email to your friends and let them know about this awesome event that's about to happen.

5) Sit in front of the capital with a megaphone and drown out the 9/11 people.

6) Talk to any friends you have in the media (bloggers, TV, Radio, print) about how awesome this event is. Or PM me their contact info in case I don't have it.

7) Recommend facebook friends follow the Out of Bounds Page

The festival has tripled in size. Houses are not a guarentee this year. Help promote! I will have "official" Facebook events created sometime in the next day or so. Look for them, but feel free to make your own for your own friends. It's more personal that way.

So, everyone post here what they've done, starting now:

Now that we have Ginny's Printing, we can advertise our shows on a larger scale.

ESPECIALLY, if you design the poster so that you can cut them into four hand fliers.

Just a thought!

Follow these easy steps to success:

1) Facebook invite Boyko.
2) Text Boyko to make sure he got the Facebook invite.
3) Text Boyko to invite him (completely different text)
4) E-mail Boyko an invite.
5) Send Boyko an evite.
6) Find old blog posts of Boyko's and invite him in the comments.
7) Call Boyko.
8) Send a singing telegram to Boyko.
9) Send a carrier pigeon to Boyko.
10) Show up at Boyko's place with a radio ad "Say Anything" style.
11) Rinse, wash, repeat.

Good thinking Asaf! The festival itself has ordered 1000 hand bills for people to drop off. This is great for anyone looking to individually promote their shows. Love it!

Believe you me, there's a big ol' "FULL DISCLOSURE: Author is also performing in the festival" at the top of the article. Which is better than when it was at the bottom of the article and slyly pimping my OOB shows. I still have some ethics.

Well, get rid of them and start pimping our upcoming shows, dammit!
