In reality: yeah, right. The Dems can't agree on enough - and the wheels on the bus go bump-bump-bump.
Hell, health care reform has been a Dem. priority since the New Deal and they haven't managed to get this no-brainer done. I'll be stunned if it gets done now, either. Deficit hawks, lobby puppets... fractured coalition at best. I can't get too excited.
On the other hand - they're having a hell of a party over at C-SPAN.

What's with his wife? She's like Adrian from the first Rocky movie when she was all bashful and you thought she might be a little slow in the head. Franken has to direct her where to go by slapping her hip like the woman was a horse or something. I mean, she appears pleasant and, but still...
I'm sorry to see a news story this monumentally dumb go away. But with this new Filibuster-Proof(TM) Senate, the Democrats can start self-destructing at a much faster rate!
