Help with a new meetup group

Heya,
I'm starting a new Meetup group, the Austin Live Comedy Connoisseurs, and pretty soon, I won't have to look up how to spell that damn word anymore. The idea is, go to shows with random webizens instead of going alone when my friend doesn't want to.
Most places don't let my dog in anyway.
I'm an L2 student at ColdTowne and a retired intern there, so I'm pretty familiar with the players and shows. I'm nowhere near as familiar with Hideout, Salvage Vanguard, New Movement, or ComedySportz, and especially, the venues I don't know about. And then there are the standup venues and performers. Can anyone recommend a guide or two who can help me select shows to feature on a given weekend? Ideally, I'd like to talk to someone at these venues about a group rate, too.
Cheers,
Greg
