Good Vet in South Austin??

Hey! So I'm adopting a puppy this Saturday and I'm SO EXCITED!! But I need a vet for him-anyone have a vet-preferably in South Austin-that they like?? Thanks!

I really like Dr. Garza at Ben White Pet Hospital. She and the rest of the staff take really good care of Lucy.

We use Westgate Pet and Bird... and they're good and close, but if you're willing to go further south, there's
Manchaca Village Vet. They were really good with our Sharpe when she had some serious skin issues.
If anything more than regular old maintenance comes up, I'll bring her back there.

We used to take Beula there. I can vouch they're good. Westgate was just closer to us and equal in goodness (and heartworm pills are cheaper I think).

oh wait oh wait! I am in love with my vet. He works insane hours and loves animals. he's a freaking saint. his appt. hours are just in the morning but he is there all day. you could drop your puppy off. His name's Dr. Meyer at Riverside Veterinary Clinic 444-3111. They just moved to Oltorf next to Java Noodle, 888, and the former Wanfu.
I can't imagine anyone better and his prices are good. But, i may be biased. I'm sure the other vet's are very fine.

ooh! thanks katie! i'm going to take you up on that guy-i took him to south first pet hospital today and i wasn't too happy. i waited 45 mins then the vet barely glanced at him and didn't really answer any of my questions.....grrrr....
