So cool, you guys.
Chris Allen is running the Tuesday Night Jam tonight from 7 to 10pm. CJ was one of the first performers I watched in Austin, and he blew me away with his commitment, his physicality, and his beard. He still does.
Seriously, if you haven't had the pleasure of working with him before, I highly recommend it.
Tonight, 7-10PM. The Hideout. 617 Congress Ave.

Head's up, the jam will be restricted to the classroom while I work in the theater tonight. I may pop in to play some games, but I will be high from paint fumes.

My very first memory of Chris Allen was watching him do a solo scene in Maestro. Andy placed three chairs on the stage, and he was told to disarm 3 bombs in 3 different ways. I think it was all silent and he had a minute to do it.
I remember
1) thinking he was awesome, and
2) wondering if he was Amish

Oh man, I still remember that scene! It was great!
I have a vague memory from the same era of him doing a scene as a character...from Wisconsin?
I love Chris Allen.
But will never call him Ceej.

I'm improv-ing elsewhere tonight but I'm really sad to miss this. Ceej- please lead the jam again! Preferably working around my schedule.

just texted to Chris:
Methinks I'll take a long lunch break and come jam for an hour or so.

Yes, Chris is awesome, but I want to shave his beard. Or glue a mustache on him.

That was such a blast! We had about ten people that grew to nearly twenty buy the end.
I'd love to do this again in the future, even be Wes's sidekick. I have a better idea of how to
run things now that I jumped off the cliff and did my first one.
Go JAMMERS!!!

A blast indeed! Kudos for the improvisers that showed up and added a touch more and encouragement as well
