This Sunday is my birthday--28! We're having a Pot Luck Brunch to celebrate. We'll have an open house that starts at 11 AM and goes until 3pm, so you can swing by any time: after dim sum, before mojo kickball, or anything in between.
I'll be providing coffee, dozens of bagels with all the fixin's: cream cheese, lox, etc and the Sunday New York Times. You can bring juice, fruit, eggy-type dishes, salads, baked goods, or whatever else you like for a leisurely yet decadent brunch. No gifts, please.

I didn't get the sweet deal I wanted, but they did accept my bid in the end.
(Even after getting all kinds of concessions from me, they tried to back out later, about 7:00, claiming a better offer came along. But my realtor told them where to stick it because they'd already signed off on entertaining my bid. The seller tried to weasel, but my guy said that we'd fight and she'd pay a lot more than the 3,000 more they were offering in the end and she'd lose to boot. So I signed everything and wrote some checks and after two very intensive days, and one slightly angry-at-me seller, I'm on the path to ownership).
I still have to have the inspectors out on Thursday and do all that option period stuff like finding insurance, then manage to pay everything at closing that is required, but it looks like it is going to happen. As of June 15th, I should become a member of the landed gentry.
