Hello! My name is Amira, I finally made it through grad school with my MFA so now that I have a life again I thought it was about time I got myself on here. I took improv classes at The Hideout about a year ago as well as acted a bunch in college. I miss being onstage.
I also really like squirrels.

Squirrels make me laugh. There was one who came up to our big glass windows to torment the dog, and for a while when I was working from home I turned on Squirrel TV every afternoon (i.e., put a bunch of nuts outside and watched them eat).
Have you seen the blonde squirrels? They're not albino, because they have brown/black eyes and truly golden fur. But there are a couple of them in my neighborhood, and the people in the houses where they hang think I'm a nutter, since everytime I see one, like a 5-year-old, I call out either, "BLONDE SQUIRREL!" or, "Hello, blonde squirrel!"
(Don't get me started on the monk parakeets.)
