Today Bob and I (and Bill, Melissa, and Andy P.) went to see the TJ & Dave doc. Great work (congrats Asaf!) and very enjoyable. AND...I really want to thank Mr. Pasquesi for this:
During Q&A someone asked TJ and Dave (paraphrasing here): "What was it like to show the film in a place like Austin where no one really knows anything about improv?"
(Bob made a loud coughing noise here)
Dave corrected him: "Actually, Austin is a very improv savvy town. They have a big improv scene down there..."
So if anyone can send Dave a word of thanks from the girl in the fourth row sitting next to the coughing dude, I'd appreciate it.

2. There's a part of me that wonders if that person thought he was being funny because he sincerely believes Austin doesn't know anything about improv (the whole infuriatingly stupid Austin = Texas = The South = Dumb, Uncultured People thing) or if he indeed did know about Austin's improv scene and was taking a playful jab at us.
3. It really is a great movie.
