More T-shirts

Okay, people really really like the t-shirts. We should make more shirts.
Do we make another 50 shirt batch of the current design and hope that between improvisers that didn't get one the first time around and audience members and friends and family, they won't sit around in a box for six months?
Or do we come up with a new design and hope that between improvisers who want a second, different shirt, improvisers that didn't get one the first time around and audience members and friends and family, they won't sit around in a box for six months?
Or do we wait a while?

I like the design of the shirts we have now but I don't think it would hurt to have a few different designs as well. Perhaps we could hold a T-shirt design contest right here on the boards. People could post their ideas and we all could vote on them. I'd like to take a stab at designing one myself. What do you guys think?

FYI...
My 2 tshirts shrunk. Wah! After the first shrunk, I made sure not to do anything that would shrink my 2nd one. Still, it now fits too tight. Rats!
I vote we go with a different tshirt company next time.
I also think the yellow on brown would have been better as light blue on brown. Yellow on brown seems dirty. And the yellow faded pretty quickly.
Or I can just post and buy my design off Spreadshirt. It would be good to do that anyway -- for our AIC SCHWAG store.

I agree. No matter what the decision, we definately need to take our business elsewhere. Unless Andy can gripe at the business and get us a sweet discount.

I think Sara was talking about going with a different t-shirt maker. And Jay was talking about going with a different screen printer.
I love love love the yellow on brown and think they look fantastically hip and eye-catching.

Yellow on Brown is awesome.
I'm not sure if we should print shirts yet...but it would be really cool if we gave shirts away for the best audience suggestion during maestro. We could try it for a few weeks and see if it makes a noticable difference in the quality/variety of suggestions.

Yeah, I love the yellow on brown, personally.
There are lots of good screen printers in Austin, so let's ditch the one we've been using. Aztech is good, though not the cheapest. And the one we used for No Pants Day last year was excellent. I'll get the name from Dave-o.

1) Where do we stand now? How many shirts are left?
2) I love the current shirt in yellow and brown.
3) I also love Kareem's idea about giving away a shirt for a suggestion. Maybe one a Maestro for the next two months?
4) We should print more shirts and force them on the public. I'm sure we could recoup the costs for the $50 shirts form straggling improviser purchases alone, and if we can sell 20 to the public (and some of our public would buy them), then all the better.
5) We should investigate a second design, even if we don't do it this run. Maybe a contest, like Jason suggested.
