Summer Camp Brochures

Post by deroosisonfire »

I just uploaded the summer camp brochure onto project path, so please distribute it if you have places to send it. If you need a copy and aren't on project path let me know.

Also, word from Jastroch is that the printers are lame, but we should have the brochures in mere days. Jastroch was awesome in dealing with lots of crap from the printers and still getting this done in the midst of touring and moving. Well done.

I'm going to be out of town on Friday and Saturday and REALLY busy on Sunday. They still haven't spat out proofs, but once they do it's gonna be three days so...

If they don't have proofs ready by tomorrow (they should) I may need someone to run over and do a final check for the following:

1) Any last minute corrections -- It was spell checked into submission, etc... But it's always good to do one last glance.

2) Color -- this is dicey business, but sometimes the printing process screws up colors if something was off ever so slightly. The gist is to make sure it doesn't look like ass.

3) Anything Else that looks off -- text getting cut off, obvious shitty errors or something.

The place is in South Austin. Private message me with your phone number and general time availability. If there are any corrections to be made, I can do those in Shreveport or they may be able to handle it themselves. The sooner we check those proofs, the sooner we get brochures.

But as I said, if everything goes as planned, I'll be checking them sometime today or tomorrow morning. But nothing ever goes as planned with printers.

Now that we have a bank account, can we put something on the flyers to the effect of "make checks payable to AIC"?

When can I get some of these brochures, I have a list of theatre teachers (high school and middle school), and I'd like to email them out (which I can do as I already have the PDF of the brochure!), but I'd also like to drop off some brochures in person at 10 or 12 different schools that I can get to.

The problem is, school is out in two weeks, and this is pushing it.

As soon as ANYONE has some brochures printed (I'd print my own, but I'd rather have more quality), please please let me know and get some of them to me!
