STAPLE is one of my favorite events of the year and the post-convention party is one of those reasons. It's awesome to watch those artists in action and listen to some DJs spin. The music and art go together so well, without any egos trying to overshadow others. Very cool atmosphere. Plus, y'know, drinking and schmoozing is good too.

I love Achewood. I'm thinking of stopping by just for Onstad, but I don't really know what goes on at this kind of thing. Would I just wait in line for his autograph, then leave? Does he give some sort of speech or participate in a panel? Judging by the website I'm guessing he's just sitting around signing stuff, but does anyone know for sure?

There might be a line, but it could also depend on what time of day you go there. Hopefully, you'll walk around to check out all the other awesome people and stuff for sale there. There are a few panels, with some Q&A sessions for particularly high-profile creators. Check it out here: http://www.staple-austin.org/guests/. Nothing for Onstad so far, but that could change by tomorrow.
