The New Movement is excited to welcome the UCB's Sean Conroy back to Austin. He'll be doing workshops on Sunday at the The New Movement (1819 Rosewood Ave) and performing at our new monthly Mohawk Show (Off Night On) Monday March 2nd at 8:00p.

Workshop info:
Game of the Scene Damage Control
In this workshop, students will learn damage control techniques for those ever-so-rare occasions when the game of the scene is not apparent.

Sunday 1:00-3:00p @ The New Movement
1819 Rosewood Ave

Second Beats
In this workshop students will focus directly on various ways to explore second beats. They will pay particular attention to knowing when to do analogous second beats, when to do time-dash second beats, how to heighten from the first beat without blowing out the third beat, and what to do when your first beat blows and you have to come back and wallow around in it again.

Sunday 3:30-5:30p @ The New Movement
1819 Rosewood Ave

Cost:
$30/$50 for both
make checks payable to Chris Trew. Reserve your spot with an email to me!

P.S. - Montreal Comedy Festival showcase this Friday at the Hideout (FREE)
P.P.S. - New Movement Launch Party this Sunday at 6pm! Check future post for details!

I took the second beats workshop when Conroy was in town for see.hear.speak, and it was probably the best workshop I've ever taken. Definitely recommended, especially if you're interested in doing Harolds. I'm also taking both workshops on Saturday. I'll try to get some notes for you, Cody, but I can't promise they'll be thorough.
