Farewell to the Monday Night Mash

Yep, The last Monday Night Mash will be this coming Monday, Feb 23rd.
It looks like Kick Butt Coffee wants to try some other venues to try to drive in sales. Considering their location, I can totally understand that they need to have a consistently big audience to make sure they offset their costs.
A lot of troupes got a lot of good stage time and got a chance to gain a lot of quick-and-dirty experience so I'm glad we all had the opportunity to perform there. Thanks to all the troupes who helped make the Monday Night Mash possible. Snackers looks forward to playing with you guys again soon!

I'm sad. Now to where can I direct people looking to meet the fabulous Courtney?

I am bummed about this, but I am glad the Mash existed as long as it did. It was fun to see lots of troupes I would not have otherwise seen and I am glad those troupes got the stage experience the Mash afforded them. Hopefully, some similar venue will open up in the future.

I had a blast the one time I performed in the Mash.
What Snackers did is exactly what any group looking for stagetime should do... they went out and got it, and promoted the hell out of it.

I will miss the mash a great deal. It was fun and a great opportunity.
Snackers would like to thank No Chaser, who have been helping us run the Mash for a few months now. You guys are great!

Yeah, me too. Thanks for the kind words about the Mash. And thanks No Chaser, and all those troupes who played the Mash! It was fun and I got to know a lot of you improvisers doing it! hurrah!
Good news? I don't have to get on MySpace any more.

Bummer. I enjoyed the two shows RedRover did there. Booger.

Bummer. I always had rehearsal during it, but really enjoyed the handful of times I was there. I was also looking forward to breaking the fourth wall there (which I'm sure I'm the only one to think of)

I was a frequent attender of the mash. Mondays are always event-less for the mash was a fun time. I hope it returns in another location.

I really enjoyed my two mash experiences. I think it's essential that there are shows like this happening. Big thanks to Snackers for making this last as long as it did.

I just played my first couple of Mashes recently, too bad it's ending. Are there plans to bring the Mash elsewhere?

Foo. Mash was fun when iPhone performed it.
Has anyone talked to Thunderbird about it? Might not be as conducive a space, if they put mashers outside, but they seem big into supporting locals, and they have bands there.
