I finally finished watching the whole thing, and you know, it's one of the things that I love about this country. Colbert skewered the government, the satire was extremely painful, and yet, he can still finish his entire speech. And, the President shook hands with him and afterwards pat him on the back on the way out. (though the First Lady didn't shake hands with Colbert).

Free speech rocks.
