...I work in the news media and for my assignment tomorrow...

...I get to hang out at the Republicans' party all night.

It was much better when I got to hang out at Kinky's losing party. Because there was music and good booze and
people already knew there was no chance in hell that he would win.

I get to be at stupid work (yay, I have a job!), but I think when I get off work I'm going to the election party at Mohawk.

C.J., I'm sure there will be plenty of booze at the Republican's party.

and they will also already know that they are loosing.

I will either be in the International Terminal of LAX or flying over the Pacific Ocean.

I think I'll be in a yoga class to get my mind off of things until it's actually over. Then I can watch windbag pundits talk about how historic it all was. Hopefully this won't end up like 2000...that one hurt.

I was going to the jam at the Hideout! Now that it's been cancelled I'm not sure what I will do. I know- I'll vote for the AIC elections!

not sure - Florida HQ hasn't planned much of anything resembling a party. Work is scheduled until at least 10pm....but whatever.... we'll find a way to work in a party...yes we can!

I'll be in Grant Park with Melissa who scored tickets to the "Election Night Rally" at which Obama is delivering either his acceptance or concession speech.

I was wondering the details, myself. After some searching I found that they are planning for one million people to be in the area around the rally, but the website says 65,000 ticketed guests (THAT'S ME!) will be allowed into the area where Obama is speaking. Gates open at 8:30pm and the "permit for amplified sound" is registered until 1am.

No seats. No bags bigger than a purse. Metal detector enforced. No Food or Drink. Hot dogs, pizza, and hot chocolate available for sale inside. 265 portable toilets.

Texas Repulblicans will actually probably be whooping it up enough. Cornyn is going to be re-elected, alas. I wish we could bring Senator Box Turtle home.
