I did, I voted!
This was my first time to vote in a presidential election.
My voting machine had a blinking red "vote" light that beeped at you.

I voted the first hour of the first early voting day so that I could go ahead and officially wash my hands of this filthy, nasty election.

Plus, that was just two more weeks I got to stop listening to jack all about the election. I'd already voted, none of the stories really mean much to me now.

I voted to re-elect Justin Davis as President of Omaha.

Who voted straight party and who went down the entire ballot?

I wound up voting straight ticket (for the first time ever), but I did so by going through the entire ballot and clicking on the party I wanted in each race, not with the straight ticket button (nor will I ever use that button).

I did break with my party on Prop 2, though, so I guess straight party only so far as candidates go, but on the Propositions I went a different direction and did not support my party's stance.

Same here. AND agreed. That damned straight ticket shit has no place on the ballot.

I appreciate your vote and promise to make you proud of my administration, which consists solely of me and me.

The most awesome election-related video I've seen yet. Add in a few more sound effects and a backbeat, and you've got a Negativland piece: http://video.236.com/services/link/bcpi ... 1885473979

You've really got to pay attention... to words.

Voted a few hours ago. It was easy and fast. No waiting at all at one of the early mega-voting centers across from Lamme's Candies on Airport Blvd.

I'm going to vote tomorrow.
I had to study what the propostions were.
During the primaries I voted for the first time.
However I voted blindly and regreted not seeing what was on the ballot before hand.

Actually it's interesting because on San Antonio's ballot, we're voting for extending term limits of members of city council. And my Texas Politics teacher is a member of the city council herself. So she's giving me every reason to vote in her favor...but I'm still digging at why possibly not.

And I have to stage a debate about term limits as well; I'm on the team that argues there are cons in the extentions. So I hope she doesn't carry any bias towards us because we could be influential to undecided persons in our class.

I'd like to be in favor of an extention, if only that extention came with stronger checks and balances for the council members and raise in pay.

I'm kinda paranoid about voting on a str8 ticket.
A friend of mine was saying either during Kerry or Gore, democratic str8 tickets were thrown out as if they were provisional votes.
Her paranioa=My paranoia.

And then ex-GOP operative Allen Raymond was on the latest Real Time With Bill Maher and explained how he and the GOP in the 00s disenfranchised millions of black voters.

I voted mostly my party with the occasional third party vote in smaller offices to help build up their viability.

We sooooooo need more than a two-party system.

I voted earlier today at the Hancock Center. There was hardly anyone there. In fact, aside from a small herd of the elderly, I found myself in line between members of the Austin band Voxtrot.
