Hi everyone - if you haven't heard, I am hosting an event for Domestic Violence Awareness Month to honor women in Texas that died as a result of DV last year. Some of you have already responded on Facebook. I hope you can attend. It should be a really powerful and moving night. Here is the flyer...

Thanks for those of you that supported this event either through donations, words of encouragement, and/or through attendance. Obviously this is a subject I am passionate about, as are many of you. I hope that you will continue to support this work and that many more of you will be willing to get involved. The issues of sexual assault and domestic violence are soicial issues and they will not subside until a much larger portion of society gets involved.
On that note, I am hosting a discussion group on November 11th at 7PM. PM me if you'd like details on location, etc. If you'd like to come I have space for 25 people. What I am looking for is creative ways to create social change around these issues. You are the most creative group of people I know and I think you would have some fantastic ideas to contribute to the discussion.
If you have some ideas, but can't attend the meeting, feel free to email/PM them to me. HOWERVER...I'd much rather have you there in person.
Thanks for your time and generosity.
Woo Hoo!
