Hello improvisers!
In order to help the co-op shows (the 3-fer and the Cage match) run more smoothly, the newly formed scheduling committee has decided to schedule volunteers to run lights and to host for each performance. We are also getting together a "Got your back"-up team of improvisers who are willing to play on a randomly assigned cage match team with 24 hrs notice (in case of cancellation).
SO, I am asking you, in the spirit of co-operation, to send me your availability to volunteer for November/December. This is a great way to support your fellow improvisers and your friendly neighborhood theater.
We are hoping that each team will be represented on the volunteer list. Its possible that in the future, there might be a more regulated recruiting system, but for right now, we are relying on your desire to make the AIC even more successful than it already is.
Send your contact info and availability for both the 3-fer and the Cage match to me at ayoung@math.utexas.edu. Let me know if you have a preference between doing lights or hosting. Also let me know if you want to be put in the pool of bench warmers for the Cage match.
