All this weekend, the AIC is trying to show some love to those displaced by Hurricane Ike. Anybody who brings non-perishable food (boxes or cans) or diapers or baby formula to the Hideout gets $3 off admission, and at ColdTowne it merits two-for-one admission. Please tell anybody who might be seeing a show this weekend to bring some food along.

If any performers can also kick in some food, please bring it along to the theater this weekend. All donations will be collected and delivered to the Capital Food Bank, which as of Wednesday was completely out of food. Investment banks being out of money we understand, but a Food Bank out of food? Outrageous!

Many thanks to anybody who can pitch in a little bit to help out those who have lost their homes and livelihood to last weekend's storm.

Thank you, AIC members and audience members who participated in the food drive for Hurricane Ike. We collected over 36 pounds of food and a case of bottled water for some people who need it very much. Good on ya!

We collected some from the Kid's show on Sunday. I left them on the black benches. Did you get that as well?
