The Improv Mixer :

Wanna get a free improv workout?
Wanna scope out the newbies?
Merlin Works will be hosting our first
Improv Mixer on Sunday September 28th 2pm - 4pm at Salvage Vanguard Theater. The Mixer is intended to help improvisers form or find troupes to rehearse and perform with. It's kinda like Speed Dating for Improvisers. The Mixer is open to the entire community: students, free agents, existing troupes looking for new members, coaches, or anyone who wants a free workout. At the beginning, people will state their improv interests, goals, and commitment level. Then I will lead an improv workout where everyone will get to play with each other and see each other perform. At the end, everyone will fill out a form indicating who they want to work with and I will tabulate this information and try to match people up with troupemates and a coach when there is a good fit.**
** Attending the mixer does not guarantee you will be placed in a troupe.
