Maestro of Losers

So last year we did a Maestro of Maestros. Someone suggested that this fall we do a Maestro of Losers -- a Maestro cast entirely with people that have never won a Maestro before.

I think it's a fun idea and very much in line with the philosophy of Maestro, but I want to make sure we have enough players for the show. Who would be eligible and amiable to play in a Maestro of Losers?

There are a lot of talented folks who, for one reason or another, have never won. It's always been cool when you find out after a show that it was the first win for that evening's maestro. You can tell it's special for them. It's a guaranteed special evening for someone in the cast that night.

As for myself, I've had an impressive resume of being runner-up! (sounds better than "loser")......that being said...I'd be happy to do tech for such an exciting show.

Let me know whenver it is.

And by that I mean myself, not Jason Biggs, Mena Suvari or Greg Kinnear. Though I don't know if they've ever won a Maestro.

I have come in 2nd place 5 times without ever winning.

Also, did someone say Mena Suvari is going to be there?

I've never won a Maestro even in the early days in '01-'02.

would this loser maestro only be for people who have performed in a maestro before?

i guess you can't technically lose at something if you've never tried it. or...pfft whatever.
