hey. the fest is kicking major ass so far and while we all know about the madhouse of friday and saturday nights at SVT but there are some new and extra sweet things we've added this year to enhance your comedy experience.

Double Eagle Short Films Festival - FRI 6pm - SVT
We'll be showing a string of great shorts we've culled from the net and local archives to deliver a truly great string of shorts followed by the new Backpack Picnic pilot, entitled Fort Ricky. We'll show films from Superdeluxe in the form of Onesie and The Maria Bamford Show, The Carpet Brothers starring David Spade, Studio 8, Terp 2 It, Kape, well hung jury, and many others.

PANELS at 5:30 FRI-SAT
Friday we'll talk about how to turn your love of comedy into income with Shana Merlin, Mitch Baker, Les McGehee, Marv Pratt - Moderated by Tom Booker.
Saturday you can pick up some marketing pointers from Michael Jastroch, Bill Arnett, and Foyd Van Buskirk, moderated by Asaf Ronen.

STAND-UP and STOOL PIGEONS at ColdTowne FRI-SAT
Tired of stupid imporv and skech comedy? Check out our sweet lineup of sharp stand-ups at ColdTowne 9 and 10pms. Then a couple great Stool Pigeons both at 11pm also at the ColdTowne Place of Theater.

WORKSHOPS
There is still room in a couple workshops happening this weekend. Bill Stern's multidisciplinary zen approach, and the Groundlings Longform approach on Friday still have room.
Saturday, there is still room in Stan Wells transforming workshop and Micah Philbrook's Play Faster and Stronger.
