Your heroes?

Post by phlounderphil »

On a more serious (and humble) note...

I'd like everyone to take this brief moment to inform us of who their heroes are. Improv heroes, life heroes, super heroes, whomever you look up to, post them here!

MY ONLY HERO IS JEREMY H. LAMB (the H is for Higgenbotham).

I love him with every improvised ounce of my being.

Then of course there's:
Eddie Izzard
Lenny Bruce
Senator McCarthy

Most of my personal heroes have some sort of eccentricty that defines them. I basically define a hero as someone who, personally, or through their work, just completely dumbfounds and inspires me. Either that, or they're full of piss and vinegar and aren't afraid to let everyone know it (in the case of Mr. Lydon)

Johnny Cash
Johnny Rotten
Johnny Cleese
Johnny Lee Hooker
Tony "Johnny" Iommi
Ricky Gervais
Bill Hicks
Toshiro Mifune
Jorge Borges
Joseph Campbell
Neil Flynn
Stanley Kubrick
Winston Churchill
Tom Waits
Will Christopher Baer
Akira Kurosawa
Nikola Tesla
My grandmothers

I'm sure there are others. I just rattled this list of quickly.

Tenacious D! I'm in awe of those dudes. And Jurassic Park. Can a story be a hero?
They call me Dollar Bill 'cause I always make sense.
