Austin Improv

So our first show was last night, and my personal first time on the improv stage. Coached by King Ratliff, the Powers that Be took a novel approach to fielding players: the troupe was selected not by arbitrary things like "merit" or "group mind".... but rather entirely arbitrarily. Like, out of some dude's hat there were some names that popped out. One of them ended up being mine.

Somehow, against all odds, it worked. I'm still high from the performance. I can't believe I got to play with such extraordinary talent, and the fact that it was dumb luck that gave me that chance doesn't seem to dull the Awesome.

So, yeah, I guess this isn't an "Event" as much as my personal improv epiphany, but, yeah, if any of you fellers wanna see us again for the first time, it'll be at Coldtowne at 8 PM. On Friday. Like, next week on Friday at 8 PM at Coldtowne.

I had two friends in the audience for this show; neither of them had seen an improv show before. They were absolutely blown away when I told them that you guys had never performed before. They really enjoyed your show. Good job!
