Video help for OoB

Post by HerrHerr »

Hey all you people who own or have access to decent video cameras! OoB needs your help.

We will be taping all of the improv and sketch shows and burning dvds for the troupes that perform. To make that happen, we need people to help shoot the shows. For every show block that you shoot, you will receive a comp for another show block!

WHAT?! A free show block for essentially getting to sit and watch another free show?

You betcha!

Please pm me if you are interested in helping out or if you have any questions.

Thanks!

BUMP!

Yes, there are more shows then ever at this year's OoB. Please consider helping us shoot the shows on video. I have a sweet camera that we will use at SVT, but we really need a couple more cameras. One for the COLDTOWNE SHOWS and one for the second SVT stage. You get a free comp for each show block you shoot.

One of the coolest things about OoB is that we get a dvd into the hands of each troupe of their show BEFORE they leave town. You do not need to be a video pro to shoot the shows. A little bit of simple training and WHOOLA! YOU'RE READY TO GO. All you have to do is siat and pay attention to an improv show through a lens.

How sweet is that?

Bump

Please shout out if you have a camera that OoB can borrow or if you have some time to shoot. Shooting is not difficult, so please considering volunteering if you have some free time.

And, again, you get a comp for a show block after you shoot a show block!

Thanks!

Bump!

Seriously still looking for any volunteers to help shoot video at the Salvage V.T. shows.

Basically, you babysit a camera and make sure it stays on that you press record and stop...

...AND you get to watch the improv block you shoot...

...AND you get a comp for another show block.

Maybe you have a friend who isn't in the improv community who would like to do this, no?

Please pm me to let me know! We ARE SO SHORT on volunteers this year and would love you or your friends to help step up. THIS IS OUR FESTIVAL, IT'S AWESOME FUN! PLEASE HELP!

Thanks!

I hope this might turns into a CAN-DO! Pm me to let me know which nights and show times (8 or 10) you can make. Need most help between Thursday and Saturday.

Also, need someone who might be able to shoot the Kabam!/Shakspeare block on Monday.

My computer won't open that link. Is there another way I can see the schedule?

I've got you down for the 8 PM show on all days - check the show schedule at http://www.outofboundsimprov.com/2008/shows08.html and let me know which shows at that time you prefer. Thanks again!

Above is what I'd like to sign up for, but I can't get to that google doc to find out if the slots are taken. I really need to find a way to see that document.

UPDATE: Now I'm able to see the Google Doc, but I'm not able to sign up on it. I'd still like the slots I listed above, if that's possible. I can even add "Friday 8pm Video B" to my list if that helps, since my name was already in the slot before I saw the schedule.

ALSO: My troupemate Jerry Weiser would like to sign up for Friday night, Door B 7:30 and Door B 9:30. I hope you can put us both on the schedule while we're trying to master this Google technology. Thank you!
