GGG just got home from twin cities. What a wonderful festival!! The stage at a Brave New workshop was like a playground for improvisers...panels on the back wall that swung around, a built in bar on the side (perfect for sitting/laying on), footholds on the wall, and a loft area above the musician. GGG had a great show. It was totally inspiring playing in that space.

Some of my favorite troupes that we saw were a Brave New Workshop, Rampleseed, 5 man job, 123 Improv, and Scram. Overall, I was incredibly impressed with the quality of shows at the festival. People were really committed and played largely without fear. Plus the audiences were great...the theater sat 200+, and every show I went to was at least half full.

This was really the best non-OoB festival we've ever attended. GGG's and ColdTowne's shows were very well-received and the festival organizers were really friendly, helpful folks. Yay TCIF!

Much fun (although I'm not sure Lisa and I ever got our feet under us schedule-wise). That theater was just a playground and the folks were very kind.

Plus, that town just rocks!

We got some tasty pix. Is there going to be a place we can all upload and share our photographic goodness?

Kudos to all at Brave New Workshop and TCIF in general for a fine fest!

Thanks (?!) also to Jastroch for the "new book system" dance/walk that Lisa feels compelled to imitate repeatedly.
