Hello dere. (Working on my online Marty Allen impression.)

Hi all,
My name is Mike McNulty, and I'm new to the Austin Improv community. Moved here about 6 months ago from San Francisco (previously from Boston), and am just finishing up Tom Booker's Improv class. Have seen Maestro a couple of times and have even been lucky enough to play with some of its participants. Hopefully I'll feel comfortable enough to eventually try it myself. My background is that I'm a writer, standup comedian, actor, and (remember to put something funny here before clicking the "Submit" button).
All that aside, my most important Improv moment has been winning 2 jelly donuts from Tom Booker when the Celtics won it all!

the correct form is "y'all." a simple contraction of the second person plural. never use it in the singular sense. it is a lash worthy offense.

Incorrect. Y'all is specifically singular. The correct plural form is "all y'all" or "alla y'all". Please.

you want to get into this with me, Majcher? i'm Texan, born and raised, and i'm tellin' ya...y'all is the contraction of "you all," therefore: second person PLURAL! "all y'all" is merely redundant.
i will fight you in the streets over this issue.
also, whether a truck has to have a bed or not.

Jordan's right. Y'all is plural. It's only singular in movies and TV shows about the South made by people who aren't Southern.
