He's no Bill Richardson, but still...way to go Democrats.

How does he stack up against Bob Barr?

I think an Obama/Richardson ticket would be a good thing. All this chatter about Clinton being his running mate, though. I would have been open to that idea (at all) if the primary season had not been so replete with vitriol between them.

I almost made a Bob Barr joke!

I'm still reading up on Barr's recent platforms and policies. He wasn't even in the Libertarian running that I remember back during the Texas elections because I looked at the Libertarian candidates.

He'll be a fascinating candidate, though. Hopefully he has enough name recognition and political clout to give third parties more exposure and viability.

Obama should begin working now to get Bob Barr included in the debates. If Dems are worried about McCain pulling fringe Dem votes away from the party, I guarantee you that Repubs are worried about Bob Barr doing the same, or could be if he got a little more national exposure. He could be the GOP's Ralph Nader.

I had no idea who this "Bob Barr" character is (I'm a bad Libertarian), so I looked him up. Turns out he's on Colbert tonight.

If I were a libertarian I'd be disgusted by the Bob Barr nomination.

When it comes to tax issues, he's your guy, but on nearly every single social "values" issue, he's your worst nightmare.

I don't get it.

I have no idea who Bob Barr is either. So.....

Next thing you know, no one will know who Chuck Baldwin is or what he stands for, either!

But I agree, Barr seems to only represent half the party values. I can't believe the party sold out for a bigger name.

Bob Barr seems like a funny uncle.

The biggest problem with government today is the lack of mustaches. So, if not Bob Barr, then I'm pulling for Brent Foshee.

WWMVBD bracelets for all!

What Would Martin Van Buren Do?
