I just got this email from one of my students who recently moved to town and teaches movement technique classes. She is a cool lady and I'm sure lots of improv/actor people could benefit from her work.

Dear Friends,
I'm very pleased to be letting you know that this week I am opening my Self Regulation Therapy and Alexander Technique practice here in Austin.
My office is at 1211 Baylor Street just north of 12th and Lamar.
During the month of April I am offering a free introductory session of Self Regulation Therapy or a free introductory lesson in the Alexander Technique.
If you are unfamiliar with those modalities I can offer you a short explanation of the work, or you can check it out at www.ati-net.com ( Alexander Technique) or www.SRTAustin.com / www.cftre.com (Self Regulation Therapy.)
The Alexander Technique offers a way of learning to move that enhances your ease and coordination in any activity from running to sitting at a computer. It is also a proven method for reducing pain and tension and enhancing the performance of actors, singers and musicians.
Self Regulation Therapy is designed to restore the nervous system to balance after dysregulation caused by shock or developmental trauma, or any overwhelming events such as car accidents, surgery or abuse. It is especially effective for symptoms such as anxiety, depression, chronic pain, dissociation and panic attacks.
I am delighted to welcome you to experience these modalities. Please pass on this email to any friends, family or groups who you think may benefit from the work that I offer. To make an appointment please email me at alexanderteacher@yahoo.com or call me at (512) 236 8489.
I look forward to working with the community here in Austin.
Warmly,
Raewyn
