Troy Miller is heading up Start Trekkin' this fall at the Hideout Theatre (Saturdays at 8pm in Sept. and Oct.) and we're currently looking for a few good men and women.

We're initiating the casting process and we need to know whose interested in participating. We'll need a full stable of Star Trek and long-form knowledgeable improvisers, killer lighting and sound improvisers and a couple reliable musical improvisers that can hit the genre hard. We'll try to involve everyone interested in some capacity.

You can PM me or Troy, or email us, or call 512-HIDEOUT.

In conjunction with the show run, we will be having a "Start Trekkin'" class, which will introduce folks to the format, as well as workshop long form and genre skills. This is a great way to learn a lot of great stuff and position yourself for casting for future runs.

From the class post:

"Workshop participants will perform in a short "warm-up" act before every show in the September/October run of Start Trekkin'. They will also perform at least two student performances of Start Trekkin' on a Thursday or Sunday in September/October. (We're still working out the details on these "Mainstage Workshops" so if there are other things we can do to make it worth your while, let us know and we'll try to make it happen.)"

Please PM Andy directly to sign up for this class, or use the registration link on the post in the Classes section of the board. This class is set to begin within the next 2 weeks.

Killer lights and/or sound tech needed? I'd like to climb onboard!
