Saturday Night Special at the Vortex this weekend

You ever wake up some days and realize that you're irredeemably an idiot? No? OK, maybe it's just me. See, here's the deal. Even though I am the programming director at Salvage Vanguard Theater and have full access and knowledge of the calendar, it didn't prevent me from double booking a show at SVT this weekend. Normally, this wouldn't be a big deal, but the event besides Saturday Night Special in question is the very awesome Terrastock Tea Party put on by Church of the Friendly Ghost. It's a show featuring amplified music, and would probably render your improv viewing experience not that fun. Not so fun for we performers to compete with either. So rather than ditching the show or asking the bands to, you know, go unplugged, we've just talked to our good friends over at the Vortex about moving the show over to their place. So check it, ONE NIGHT ONLY, Saturday Night Special at the Vortex. All the usual stuff applies. Sweet Improv. $10, all that jazz. Just a few blocks further east at 2307 Manor. Show time still at 10:30, although we may hold for a few extra minutes for anyone who doesn't get this email.

This one's going to be sweet, as it features not only Get Up, but the ever awesome ladies fo Girls Girls Girls. Two great story telling troupes, one moderately priced ticket.

Now, I'll give you a lilst of what's coming up through June and I'll get back to being an idiot.
