The Show itself
What a blast last night! I'd never seen the Kids live before...watched almost all of their shows back in college when they originally aired.
Despite the audio being a little wonky at times, it was such a treat to see them in action (and from the opera seats thanks to a friend). They seemed to geniunely enjoy themselves on stage and the material was new and sweet.
Here's some lines:
BRUCE (as Gavin): Okay, I'll eat your bible.
FOLEY: I think my imaginary girlfriend is cheating on me.
BRUCE (as Cathy): Remember when you dated that shiny penny?
Remind me to tell you the lines about the Sweedish lady when I see ya in person. Cannot type them at work.
Buddy Cole and Chicken Lady also made appearances. They also had a two minute crack-up in the middle of a sketch. Kevin and Foley kept losing it, trying to hide their laughter.
Good times!

Sometimes it's a form of love just to talk to somebody that you have nothing in common with and still be fascinated by their presence.

SPOILER ALERT!!!
Yup. Good stuff, ran into Chris afterwards. Heard tell of Sara and Ann's presence. Anybody else there?
Only complaints were, as Chris says, the lavs were a little too quiet and... WTF with all the people who used every 5 second break between sketches to get up to go to the f***ing bar or bathroom? I missed the start of enough sketches because of the parade up and down the aisle that I seriously considered yelling "sit the f**k down, a**holes!".
Yes, I was more than a little annoyed. Is this an Austin thing?
Lack of audience manners aside, what fun!
Too many good lines to recount here, but:
DAVE (as barkeep): This calls for the Jagermeister!
BRUCE (breaking character): Fuck you Foley!
DAVE (to entering MARK and SCOTT): Look out, he's improvising!
rang pretty authentic.
I was also surprised that a Texas audience would have such a positive response to BRUCE (as Gavin) saying:
"My dad says religion is for stupid people, it gives them something to do other than play scratch-off lottery, which, if you think about it, is really the same thing."
and............. scene.

Just saw the show tonight - awesome.
The imaginary girlfriend sketch was my favorite.
There was also a moment when a video didn't work, and they were improvising, and it was really funny.
And then I hung out after the show and met Dave Foley - those guys are just so darn nice!
