Howdy all!

The Tuesday Night Jam continues in 2008.

I'll be coordinating stuff tonight, unless there's someone else with a burning desire to run things (PM me if this is you).

I want to figure out a schedule for the next few months like we did a while back, so that no one person burns out on running things, and so that we can keep things fresh and interesting.

PM, email, or call me if you have some experience and you're interested in helming a jam in the next few months.

I would be interested in doing it every once in a while. Though I am not sure what dates yet. So keep me posted as slots fill up.

I'll be there also, and I've got a format I've been dying to try out for ages: Movie Legacy.

How to play: the following game follows the last 30 seconds of a classic, campy movie from the 50s-60s, which was remade as a masterpiece in the 70s-80s which memorable scenes and an unforgettable plot twist, but then ruined in the 2000s with contemporary topics (terrorism, global warming, modern technology usage and endorsements) and the original message/themes lost in time. Sort of like what happened with "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" or "Godzilla" or "War of the Worlds".

Thanks everyone for coming out last night. I think we had a good time playing lots of scenes in the first half and then moving on to short-form games in the second. I really liked seeing all the fresh faces and the shared enthusiasm for making good improv.

Good to see the jam is still alive and kickin'.

Thanks James for stepping up so last minute! How many people were there, do you reckon?

About ten or so.

I stepped up first minute to volunteer hosting the jam, but James is technically more experience.

I'd love to, but it's kaci's birthday. I should have found someone sooner. Whoops.

Let's be honest here... What's more important?

Big thanks to Peter for leading a great jam! And thanks to everyone who came out to shake your improv thing!
