It's all last minute, but who can say no to a...m*****f*****' giant silent dance diamond? I can't, for sure.

Ha! Least effective political protest ever....but definitely the most fun.

If I owned an Ipod, I would have joined in, I probably should have anyway. I was impressed by the couple who shared a set of earbuds and danced around with their laptop. That's dedication....and an idea I wish I thought of.

The onlookers that joined in skipping around in a circle were the ones that raised the State Troopers' ire. I think they were otherwise content to let you beautiful freaks go on as long as you wanted....but I have to admit it was a nice punctuation all the same. That and the conga line out the front door.

Madz - if you ever start a fan club....count me in as an inaugural member.

This sounds like it was interesting. What was it supposed to raise awareness to?

Looks like it was. I still don't know what the point was, though. The invite shows someone taking down a picture of GWB. Was it an anti-Bush thing?

Even so, I look awkward enough dancing with audible music.

I wasn't at the capitol building, but this sounds very much like it was a version of The Mp3 Experiment as done by ImprovEverywhere in NYC.

As far as I can tell, there was no agenda other than dancing a bit and maybe sowing some good-natured confusion. Prost!

By the way, Roy Janik--that organization's 7th annual No Pants! Subway Ride is planned for January 12.

Political? Protest? Awareness? Heh, nahhh. Just dance party, silent style. My friend Angel saw some clips of other silent dance parties and decided to do one here! And it was mucho funno.

PS - Miggy, I is your fan, too. And I'm sure there'll be more fun opps. We were joshin about how it'd be fun to do an early morn outdoors aerobics club. legwarmers!
