Hey guys,

Donald Pitschel, the dude who runs this, is super cool, plus he knows Beth Burns from somewhere prior to Austin. Anyhow, I told him I would spread the word about this event (next week) to you. I hope a lot of improv people can be there.

POWER POINT SLAM (12/12)

POWER POINT SLAM

Power Point Slams airlift the competitive energy of poetry slams past the iron curtain of bulleted lists and clip art. It’s a staring contest between ironic wit and the tools of corporate-think. Performers create 5 minute presentations, respond to questions, and move on to improvisation rounds. Your presentation can be sincere, ironic, maudlin, or hostile. Any form of human expression that defies the oversimplified, unctuous paternalism of corporate presentation style.

I'm not sure. You might want to contact Donald. I'm not sure if his email is available through the PPSlam website, so if not PM me and I can get it to you.

For those entering this I cannot stress enough the importance using "forward pointing arrows" in your presentation!
