The Ladies Are Funny Festival is coming back for another go-round next April. We're looking for any type of funny performance done by females this year, and we're anxiously awaiting your submissions.

Here's the official call:

What we are looking for: FUNNY LADIES! All-female improv and sketch troupes, one-woman shows, dance troupes, stand-ups, anything funny as long as it's a live performance by females.

SEND via post:

1. A good-quality DVD or VHS tape of a recent (no more than one year old) performance.
For improv: a regular, unedited show (at least 20 minutes) performed in front of an audience, with the cast you'd expect to bring with you to LAFF.
For stand-up: a full set or a highlight reel, performed in front of an audience
For sketch/one-woman/anything scripted: a performance of the show you'd like to perform at LAFF
For dance troupes/anything else: a video of what you do!

You may also send us a link to your video on YouTube, MySpace, or anywhere else on the Web.

Make sure the sound is good!

2. The name of your contact person, phone number(s) and e-mail address
3. A list of names of performers/tech/musicians/roadies who you will be bringing.
4. Your website URL, if you have one.
5. A disc containing a 300 dpi photo of your troupe/self and a logo (if you have one).
6. A paragraph describing your troupe/act, for inclusion on our website and marketing materials.
7. Any supporting documentation on your act (reviews, articles, awards, etc)
There is no submission fee.

DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 1, 2008. That's received-by, not postmark! (no, we will not consider extending it)
