JANUARY/FEBRUARY AVAILABILITY NOTICE (SUBMIT BY THE 10TH)

Howdy!

The Austin Improv Collective is now looking for your availability for
Fridays in January and February.

***PLEASE READ: REMINDERS/ANNOUNCEMENTS/NOTES***

* If your troupe is scheduled to perform, it should largely be your known cast that shows up for the slot. If your known cast cannot show up, tell me in advance so that I can find a replacement. We need the Friday shows filled with groups that rehearse regularly to ensure a high level of quality. This means there should be no last minute scrambling to assemble a group.
* Fulfilling your hosting duties enables you to perform in the next schedule.
* Hosting is required for troupes in 2 or more shows.
* If you need to swap shows, contact me.
* When hosting, each show needs 4 people.
* If your availability isn't in by the deadline (the 10th), you will not be scheduled.
* You are responsible for keeping track of when your shows and hosting nights are.

The dates to keep in mind are:

DEC. 10: deadline for availability to be in
DEC. 15: New schedule distributed.

***AVAILABLE DATES***

We are seeking availability for the following dates:

JANUARY 4TH, 11TH, 18TH, 25TH
FEBRUARY 1ST, 8TH, 15TH, 22ND, 29TH

Please try and make your troupe as available as possible. This will make
scheduling dramatically easier.

***INFORMATION TO PROVIDE***

Please provide answers to the following questions when replying. Try to
keep the numbered list format intact so that e-mails can be processed as
quickly as possible.

1. Name of troupe
2. Contact's name, phone number, and email
3. Ideally, how many shows would your troupe prefer to be in over the two months.
4. dates you will be available to perform
5. dates you will be available host.
6. a brief description of the troupe

***FRIDAY SHOW DESCRIPTIONS***

8PM: The Threefer, featuring 3 troupes with 25 minutes each
10PM: The Double Barrel, featuring 2 troupes with 40-45 minutes each

***FRIDAY HOSTING DUTIES***

7:30pm-11:45pm

HOSTING IS REQUIRED ONCE FOR EACH LOCAL TROUPE WITH AT LEAST TWO SHOWS SCHEDULED.

HOST TEAMS will be in the command of Ann (or another stage manager) who will be present each Friday to supervise and make sure you are keeping the place clean and functional.

Duties include (for both shows):

* 1 tech booth person
* 1 box office person
* 1 ticket taker
* 1 MC (show host)
* Cleaning the greenroom and theater.
* making sure the shows run smoothly.
* Doing anything else the stage manager asks of you.

You can expect an e-mail sent with a complete January/February AIC
schedule no later than December 15th.
