To answer Phil's request, here's a super poll.

If I had to choose from that list, I'd go with Wolverine-like healing powers.

Though, my top choice for powers would be Photosynthesis. OK, so I couldn't fight crime, but I'd just step outside and be full-up! Plus, I'd wisely invest the savings on my food bill in dividene-paying stocks and interest-bearing bonds, so pretty soon I'd be as rich as Iron Man...I mean, Tony Stark.

I guess mind control would be my choice. You could convince cashiers that you already paid them, and manipulate rich folks to buy you stuff.

I really want telekenesis. The rush hour commute on I-35 would be so much easier when you can casually fling cars aside. And anyone who cuts me off would find themselves being lifted about a mile into the air, then dropped in a random field.

It's a toss-up between flight and wolverine healing powers. Decisions, decisions.

Hmmm... fly sounds nice, but I'd probably get sucked into the roof of... I mean the engine of a jet.

Actually, I'd go with one not on this list. Telekinesis.

Yeah, I want to be able to pick up a car with my mind and throw it into the middle of Tea Party rallies.

energy projection (preferably as constructs). teleportation. energy based multiples, a la Madrox.

On second thought, I'd rather take another power that's not on the list - Whatever Dr. Manhattan had. I know hw had matter manipulation, teleportation, and possible clairvoyance, but I think they were all part of a bigger package that was a result of the accident that gave him his powers. Then I could work for the government and make people explode at will.

in the simplest terms, i'd say molecular/subatomic manipulation.

I want Magneto's powers, plus Ian McKellen's charisma.
