AIC LOOKING FOR YOUR AVAILABILITY FOR NOVEMBER/DECEMBER

Howdy!
The Austin Improv Collective is now looking for your availability for
Fridays in November and December. Please forward this e-mail to anyone you feel might need it.
IMPORTANT NOTE:

Due to the growing number of troupes submitting for performance slots, all availability MUST be received by OCTOBER 10TH. Troupes not submitting by then will not be scheduled for November/December.

The dates to keep in mind are:
OCT. 10: deadline for availability to be in
OCT. 15: New schedule distributed.

1. AVAILABLE DATES
We are seeking availability for the following dates:
NOVEMBER 2ND, 9TH, 23RD, and 30TH
DECEMBER 7TH, 14TH, 21ST, and 28TH
Please try and make your troupe as available as possible. This will make
scheduling dramatically easier.
2. INFORMATION TO PROVIDE
Please provide answers to the following questions when replying. Try to
keep the numbered list format intact so that e-mails can be processed as
quickly as possible.
1. Name of troupe
2. Contact's name
3. Contact's phone number
4. Contact's email
5. Which time slots/shows are your troupe’s preferences.
6. Ideally, how many shows would your troupe prefer to schedule over the
two months.
7. dates you will be available to perform
8. dates you will be available host.

2.1 EXAMPLE RESPONSE
For example, here's a response from a fictional troupe, Team Awesome:

5. Team Awesome prefers Threefer Madness slots, but we'll take anything.

imaginary improvisers, and promises to shock and awe audiences with our bombardment of call-backs, quick edits, and amusing facial expressions.
3. SHOW DESCRIPTIONS
3.1 THE THREEFER
Fridays, 8pm, at the Hideout
A showcase of three up-and-coming troupes, each with their own unique
style. New teams, old pros, regional and national performers, improv,
sketch and the occasional experimental form - each team gets 25 minutes to mesmerize you with their own brand of weird science.***
*** (two shows or more scheduled obligates you to one Friday Night
Hosting Duty---see below)
3.2 DOUBLE BARREL IMPROV
Fridays, 10 pm, at the Hideout
Two experienced, proven improv troupes. Roy Janik and Kaci Beeler host
with a western flair. 35 minute slots for experienced, proven improv
troupes***
*** (two shows or more scheduled shows obligates you
to one Friday Night Hosting Duty---see below)
4. FRIDAY HOSTING DUTIES
7:30pm-11:45pm
HOSTING IS REQUIRED ONCE FOR EACH LOCAL TROUPE WITH AT LEAST TWO SHOWS SCHEDULED.
HOST TEAMS will be in the command of Ann (or another stage manager) who
will be present each Friday to supervise and make sure you are keeping
the place clean and functional. It's our playground. Let's help make it
awesome.
Duties include:
* Providing a Tech person for The Threefer and Double Barrel
* Providing Box Office Person for The Threefer and Double Barrel
* Having someone take tickets outside the theater door.
* hosting the show if need be
* Helping to clean the greenroom and theater before/between/after shows
* making sure the shows run smoothly.
* Doing anything else the stage manager asks of you.
