Get yer butts out of bed and dance!!!!

Improvisational Movement Classes, October 7 & 14
11 am till 1:30pm
@ the Resident Circus Tent

These foundational classes are designed to welcome any level of movers or dancers. Beginning with a thurough warm-up we will wake up the sense, loosen up our bodies, explore movement initiation and creative expression which will culminate in the solo dance. Regarding composition we will focus on Space, Level, Time, Awareness and Interaction; in solo and duet work.
Cost: $5-8 sliding scale to cover the space rental
Class minimum: 5, so bring a friend

From 1:30-3:00 participants are welcome to stay and check out an open rehersal!

About the facilitator:
Jennifer Micallef studied modern dance and performance in Cleveland OH, Ann Arbor MI, Portland OR, and Austin TX. She has studied with Ray Chung, Andrew L'Harwood, Kirsty Simmons, Jennifer Keller, Colleen Clark, Ray Schwartz, Kevin McGee, Julian O'Brein-Pederson and many others. Over the last ten years she has focused her work on Contact Improvisation, Site Specific & Improvised Performance.

Jennifer is new on the Improv Acting Scene taking classes at Coldtowne and is super stoked to play and make new friends!!

Three For All workshops are on the 7th, but I'll try to make the 14th.

it is off 183, where 7th and 183 and Cesar Chavez converge at the bridge. You travel east and make a Uturn at Vargas and a right on Hergotz.
It is around the bend of the road on the left side of the street. Look for my White old-ass Honda.
