Start Trekkin Looking for Tech-in

Start Trekkin, the genre-spoofing Saturday main stage show in Sept-Oct is looking for a tech crew, and this could be you!

Tech for this show is wholly unique among improv shows due to the various special effects incorporating lights and sound that we use to emulate SFX on the show (transporting to a planet, getting hit by a phaser, scanning for life signs, etc.). This aspect of the show is challenging and fun sends the audience into non life-threatening spasms. As a tech, we also encourage you to make your own offers that we improvisors then have to justify. Trust me when I say this is not just lights up, lights down.

In addition, for these positions, you get:
- compensation
- credit in the show program
- a hug from David Lampe

And/or, come to our next rehearsal, which is tonight, Wednesday, at the Hideout upstairs. Arrive at 8:30 to get a first look and training at both positions. Sara Farr is our Lead Sound FX Improvisor and will guide you thus. We are currently still looking for a lead in Lighting.

I'm always at Coldtowne on Saturdays running tech. But that sounds fun as hell!
