TEACHING ARTIST POSITIONS AVAILABLE



VSA arts of Texas is currently looking for Teaching Artists in all mediums, including visual art, dance, drama, music, media arts, and literary arts. Applicants must have daytime availability to teach during the school day. This is a part-time, contract position. Experience with inclusive teaching techniques for children of all abilities preferred. Artists with disability are encouraged to apply.

Ideal teaching artist candidates should have:

Prior experience providing hands-on arts instruction to children
Experience working with children with disabilities
Spanish language skills
Ability to work in a collaborative role with other educators
Proven artistic ability
Excellent communication skills
