Is there an agenda for this week's jam?

I have several exercises each I'd like to run on taking and utilizing a suggestion and building realistic characters.

I look forward to seeing and playing with everyone again!

What are people's feelings on simple props?

Realistic character work sounds boss.

I got no problem with props, or at least, no built-in aversion. One of my favorite shows I've been in involved a wooden spoon, some barrels, and a biscuit.

Gonna bust out the Johnstone-balloons?

In Impro and Impro for Storytellers, Johnstone describes an exercise/game where players pummel each other with balloons when they don't like something their scene partner is doing. He even goes so far as to list a certain balloon manufacturer that he thinks makes balloons of the ideal shape and material.

Plus! There is a special way to loosley tie them so when you REALLY thump them, they come undone and fly around the scene. We did this last year at the Johnstone workshop and it always got a laugh.
