There's a party at my place, the Geek Temple, this Thursday, at 1901 Crossing Place, apt. 2103.

The occasion: The Season Premiere of Who Wants To Be A Superhero!

The plan:

Gathering starts at 7:30; where I'll be showing episodes from the first season on the big screen while the tivo records the show at 8:00/9:00 CST. At 11:00(ish) we will put on the earlier recorded show.

In case you have not seen this show, let me describe it. It is:

* An Elimination Reality Show
* Where the contestants live together
* And dress up as superheroes
* It is hosted by Stan Lee
* Who has lost his sanity some time ago.
* and the show is sheer brain poison.
* seriously your brain WILL shut down if you try to watch this alone or without alcohol.

Boyko, if it weren't for Emo's I would be all up this. Mainly because I want to poke around in your closet.

Aw man, I was getting myself all psyched up for this (was going to go after rehearsal), but I really want to see the cagematch this week. Looks like this week is a no go.

A bunch of us are probably going to be out supporting Terp in his gig opening for MC Chris at Emo's. I know I am.

Cancelled. They made the show just good enough to no longer be so good it's bad, but it's till bad, which makes it mediocre bad. Also, I wanna see the cagematch.
